Land Trust Staff Attend National Conference

Between October 10 and 14, the entire Land Trust staff was in Portland, Oregon at the Land Trust Alliance’s national conference. In these past several days, our staff attended workshops and seminars led by field experts and renowned speakers on topics ranging from fundraising and finance to land protection, stewardship, and conservation technology. Our staff also met with land protection professionals from around the country to share experiences and information that helps improve our efforts. We are excited to apply many of the things we learned to our work here on Whidbey and Camano Islands!
The Land Trust Alliance is a professional organization that has worked for more than 25 years with the national land conservation community to quickly, effectively, and permanently save our most valued natural places across America.
