The Habitat Tour on Camano Island
Saturday, September 26
2:30 – 4:30 pm
Livingston Bay Nearshore
This tour includes a guided walk along our Livingston Bay tidelands and to a newly protected pocket estuary. The tour is free and limited to 15 people. Please reserve your spot by Friday, September 18. More details about the trip will be emailed after you sign up.
Bus Tours - Sunday, September 27
Each of our two bus tours will take you to three of our protected properties on Whidbey Island – some otherwise not open to the public. At each stop, you’ll get to see some of the property, learn its history, and why it’s protected. One stop will include a more involved activity – such as a hike and/or a special presentation.
Please call (360) 222-3310 or email info@wclt.org to purchase your bus tour ticket. Tickets are $15 each and include a snack and drink. Upon payment, you will receive more information about your tour. Please reserve your spot by Friday, September 18.
Tour 1 - The Coastal Tour (North Whidbey)
This tour will take you to several of our coastal properties. From Dugualla Flats where the Land Trust is embarking on freshwater habitat restoration to the Mitchell Conservation Easement where an archaeological site is protected, you will learn what the Land Trust is doing to protect shoreline and fish and wildlife habitat.

Tour 2 - The Working Lands Tour (South Whidbey)
The Land Trust conserves land so that it is available for habitat, farming, and public benefit forever. While some land is protected for wildlife, some of our properties are conserved so they can remain in their current use. On this tour you’ll see historic farmland still in production, a family homestead now converted into a nature preserve, and a sustainably managed forest.
