Description
The Hoypus Hill addition will both protect the Park’s old growth forest stands and allow important loop trail opportunities for non-motorized users. Successful completion of the project will add a valuable loop trail to one of Washington’s most popular state parks.

Thank you to all who responded to our call to action. Your generous donations have allowed this project to move forward without delay. 100% of all donations received for the Hoypus Hill project will be applied towards its acquisition expenses.
The Whidbey Camano Land Trust secured grants from Island County (thanks in part to your support) and Washington State Parks to purchase 52 acres of undeveloped forestland adjacent to the Hoypus unit of Deception Pass State Park.
