Description
The conservation easement on this property ensures that the property will never be subdivided for residential or commercial purposes and will remain available for agricultural. The property has been an integral part of the agricultural activity in Ebey’s Landing National Historical Reserve for over 150 years and has the some of the best agricultural soils in the Ebey’s Prairie area.
This prime agricultural land has raised high yields of alfalfa, wheat and other grains, corn, potatoes, squash, beets, strawberries, spinach, flower bulbs (iris and daffodils), cabbage, peas, kale and has been used to pasture both dairy and beef cattle.
