Deirdre Morrison

Keystone Preserve Caretaker

Deirdre joined the Land Trust in September of 2023, with a blended role between stewardship and outreach. She graduated from The Evergreen State College with a degree in Environmental Studies, with a focus in compost-nerdery. She previously served two terms with Americorps, one with Jefferson Land Trust, another with Conservation Legacy in Western Colorado. She’s worn many hats over 15 years of working in not-for-profit; with the last several as a grant writer related to renewable energy and efficiency projects.

Deirdre grew up in Michigan, and has called the PNW home for 20 years. She adores hotsprings, improving her foraging skills, cooking, and being a bookworm. She’s always glad to practice her Spanish skills, and would like to learn how to fish for wild salmon.
