Emi Gunn

Board Member

Emi Gunn was excited to join the Whidbey Camano Land Trust in January 2024, continuing her commitment to the vitality of wild places, the necessity of nature for humans, local food production, and equitable economic health. After growing up on Whidbey, she returned to raise her family here. For the past 10 years, Emi has directed marketing, HR and accounting (and more!) for the business she runs with her husband in the Energy Efficiency Sector. Previously, she managed programs, outreach and events for Ebey’s Reserve, Puget Sound Partnership, Seattle Tilth, Mountains to Sound Greenway, and the National Outdoor Leadership School. Emi has a MBA in Sustainable Business from BGI/Pinchot and BA in Environmental Education from WWU.

In her spare time, Emi aims to maximize time outside, away from computers and cars. In addition, she loves getting up early, cribbage, trail running, homemade pesto, bare feet, and anything to do with her 4th and 6th grade kiddos.
