Haley joined the Land Trust in May 2021. She moved to Whidbey Island when she was 10 and has been volunteering with the Land Trust for the past 13 years. Haley graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications studies from Western Washington University. After Haley and her partner, Stephen, returned home from traveling around Europe for four months they found themselves living in Coupeville where Haley’s passion for this land grew even greater. She has always held a special place in her heart for Whidbey and is thrilled to be working to protect these critical wild places.
Haley now lives in Seattle and works remotely for the Land Trust. That doesn’t stop her from escaping the “big city” to Whidbey, the Cascades or Olympic Peninsula where she hikes, camps, surfs and soaks in the outdoors.
