Lily joined the Land Trust in 2025. She was born and raised in Seattle and grew up visiting Whidbey Island where she got to play and explore in the woods and on the beach, fueling her love for the outdoors and her desire to protect natural areas. She graduated with a B.S. from The Evergreen State College where she studied natural history with emphases in invertebrate zoology and evolutionary biology. She has served two terms with AmeriCorps, one with WCC and one with EarthCorps, and interned at PAWS Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. She has been an animal lover all her life, has three cats, and will always be overjoyed to pet your dog. She also loves kids and has 10+ years of childcare and outdoor education experience.
After living on Whidbey briefly from 2019 to 2020, she is excited to be back and working to protect and restore habitats on these beautiful islands. Outside of work she is interested in learning more about growing her own food, foraging, natural medicine and local geology. She is young at heart and will nerd out with you about Disneyland, Jim Henson, scary movies and ghost stories, and on the weekend you can often find her surrounded by arts and crafts supplies, watching silly TV shows with her partner, hunting for critters and cool rocks on the beach, or visiting Seattle to spend time with her friends and family.
