Pam joined the Land Trust board in 2023. After traveling to the PNW on annual road trips, Pam and her husband, Matt, made the move to north Whidbey in 2018. She fell in love with the beauty of the Island and gratefully joined the Land Trust and its mission to preserve and protect these lands. Pam serves on the outreach committee sharing the mission with Whidbey Island students and teaching staff as well as serving as a site steward for her favorite Land Trust property, Strawberry Point Preserve.
Pam has been a community volunteer for 22+ years in elementary schools, the Clarkston Education Foundation, Komen Utah, the Whidbey Camano Land Trust, roadside litter crews, and local food banks. She earned a BS in marketing from University Nevada Reno and an elementary education teaching certificate. Her interests include “treasure hunting” on beaches for garbage, glass, and agates along with hiking, visiting her two daughters in Washington, gardening, reading, doing puzzles, and spending time in nature.
