Coupeville Students Focus on Nature

The Land Trust is always excited to help young people connect with nature.

Through a partnership with Coupeville High School, 32 students in Susan Johnson’s digital media classes had the chance to hone their photography and video skills on several Land Trust protected properties. The students visited preserves up and down Whidbey, capturing images of island scenery and nature.

“The kids really appreciated the opportunity,” Johnson said. “Some of them they never knew we had so much beauty here in all of these places.”
