The scenery around Whidbey and Camano islands is lovely at any time of year. But add a heavy blanket of snow and the natural beauty soars off the charts, turning the islands into a picturesque winter wonderland.
That was the case when snow fell hard on the islands and much of the region on February 13-14. And though the evidence is mostly all melted away now, memories will last a very long time.
