Farming for the future

When Ron Muzzall’s great-grandparents bought a piece of land overlooking Whidbey Island’s north Penn Cove over a century ago, little did they know it would be the start of a family farming legacy. Five generations on, the daughters of Ron and Shelly Muzzall are the namesake of 3 Sisters Family Farm, a thriving farm-to-table operation built on a commitment to conservation. Since 2011, nearly 120 acres of the family’s farmstead have been protected.
