The Land Trust added a 5 acre parcel to the Camano Ridge Forest Preserve in 2015 to provide for improved public access, including a parking area for horse trailers. Located off of North Camano Ridge Road, just north of Carp Lake Rd., the property was clear-cut in 2012, and is now being restored to forest cover.
