The Millenbach conservation easement protects 31 acres of forestland near Crockett Lake from development, preserving an important forested buffer between residential development and Crockett Lake. The easement also protects groundwater recharge, climate resilience and carbon sequestration benefits that forested properties provide. This project was completed in 2021 in partnership with the U.S. Navy.
