The anticipated public opening of Possession Sound Preserve is now only a few months away thanks to the tireless efforts of volunteers, work crews, and Land Trust staff.
We’re thrilled to welcome Janett Wingett of Camano Island and Michael Stansbury as the newest additions to the Land Trust’s board of directors.
Land Trust site stewards take volunteering to a different level. They adopt a particular preserve and visit it regularly to perform selected tasks.
Out of an abundance of caution for our community, staff members, devoted volunteers and supporters, we’re temporarily closing our office at Greenbank Farm through March 31. We’re also canceling all presently scheduled Land Trust events and volunteer work parties until such gatherings are deemed safe to resume.
Springtime kicks off the season to get outdoors and give nature a helping hand at some really cool Land Trust protected properties. This year, we’re adding Saturday work parties so more people may have a chance to volunteer with us.
