A conservation easement on the Gabelein family farm is permanently preserving 37 acres of farmland and forest on the south shore of Lone Lake for agricultural use and water quality protection. The easement helps reduce pollution entering Lone Lake, and ultimately Deer Lagoon, and protects an important piece of Lone Lake’s beautiful landscape.
