SOUND WATERS UNIVERSITY

This one-day conference is for all who are curious about the Salish Sea ecosystem. This year’s theme, “Tracing Life through the Salish Sea,” explores the intricate web of relationships that connect species, habitats and communities throughout this unique marine ecosystem.

GUIDED WALK & TALK SERIES

Join us in nature to explore incredible properties protected by the Land Trust. Get up close and personal with old-growth forests, peaceful meadows, healthy wetlands and scenic viewpoints. Learn about native flora and fauna, different conservation attributes and more from knowledgeable guides who will share their passion with you.

Hammons Family Farm Preserve – Clinton

Spend Valentine’s Eve with us as we enjoy a stunning view of Cultus Bay, stroll through a secluded forest, and get a sneak peek of the new trail expansion, not yet open to the public.

Admiralty Inlet Preserve – Coupeville

Explore this preserve that holds some of the Country’s most breathtaking landscapes and learn about the site’s history and native flora and fauna.

KEYSTONE PRESERVE
MONTHLY WALK & TALKS

On the third Wednesday of every month, we’ll be offering a guided walk at Keystone Preserve. Wander along new trails, enjoy scenic views, learn about ongoing restoration work and check out the shoreline at this property not yet open to the public. We hope to see you there!

SNOW GOOSE & BIRDING FESTIVAL

Witness one of Western Washington’s most spectacular natural events: the annual winter gathering of thousands of Snow Geese and Trumpeter Swans, alongside flocks of wintering seabirds, shorebirds, and the many raptors that call Stanwood and Camano Island home.

Join guided tours, hear from insightful speakers, check out a variety of displays, vendors and art, and stop by the Land Trust’s table to say hello!
