VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION EVENT – POSTPONED
Due to unforeseen circumstances, we have made the difficult decision to postpone our Volunteer Appreciation Event. While we’re disappointed that we cannot gather as originally planned, we are pleased to share that we have secured a new date in September and an exciting opportunity to celebrate together. GUIDED WALK & TALK SERIES
Join us in nature to explore incredible properties protected by the Land Trust. Get up close and personal with old-growth forests, peaceful meadows, healthy wetlands and scenic viewpoints. Learn about native flora and fauna, different conservation attributes and more from knowledgeable guides who will share their passion with you.
Possession Sound Preserve – Clinton

Walk along the trail of this scenic preserve down to the shoreline and learn about the marine nearshore and forested feeder bluffs, and the unique habitats they support.
Beach View Farm – Oak Harbor
August 22 @ 10:00 am
Join us to walk along the historic Beach View Farm. Enjoy scenic views, including the working farm, mature forest, Swantown Lake, Salish Sea and, weather permitting, the Olympic Mountains.
Walking Ebey’s Sunset Walk – Coupeville
August 28 @ 7:00 pm
Experience the beauty of Ebey’s Reserve as you stroll through farmland and woodlands while the sun sets. Watch the preserve come to life with the sights and sounds of dusk.
Barnum Point County Park – Camano Island
July 24 @ 1:00 pm RESCHEDULED FOR September 12 @ 2:00 pm
Join us for this guided walk at Barnum Point County Park and get an up close look at the critical feeder bluff and vital fish and wildlife habitat that make this rare and wild place an ecological gem.
No dogs allowed on these walks unless otherwise stated. Thanks for your understanding!

KEYSTONE PRESERVE
MONTHLY WALK & TALKS
On the third Wednesday of every month, we’ll be offering a guided walk at Keystone Preserve. Wander along new trails, enjoy scenic views, learn about ongoing restoration work and check out the shoreline at this property not yet open to the public. We hope to see you there!

ADVENTURES WITH RAE AND ANDI
Trillium Community Forest – Freeland
August 13 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Embark on an adventure with Rae from Langley Library and Andi from Whidbey Camano Land Trust. Join for a short storytime followed by a guided hike at a Land Trust preserve. There will be a craft as well!
MILITARY APPRECIATION PICNIC
Windjammer Park – Oak Harbor
August 29 @ 11:00 am – 3:00 pm
The event will be a chance for the entire community to gather and enjoy live music, a free BBQ, and numerous fun activities as a way to celebrate and show appreciation for the military.
CAMANO 101
Camano Center – Camano Island

Learn about the ins and outs of living on an island with a variety of resources, learning opportunities and activities.
WHIDBEY CHILDREN’S DAY
South Whidbey Community Park – Langley
