The 11-acre property contains 1,300 feet of forested shoreline along Admiralty Inlet that is designated as a critical habitat area for fish and wildlife. Coastal forests like this one are a declining habitat type. Smugglers Cove is one of 11 natural areas the Land Trust helped to transfer to Island County for protection.
