Does it get any more magical than springtime on Whidbey and Camano islands? Lush new plant growth quickly fills the beautiful landscapes. Wildlife is as busy as ever, singing, hopping, and howling to welcome the new season.

Do you cherish the islands? If you do, an opportunity is approaching to help save the scenery and nature you love. GiveBIG, Washington’s biggest online giving event for nonprofits, is partnering with Giving Tuesday Now to hold a special two-day giving event on May 5-6.

Giving Tuesday Now is a new global day of giving that was created as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. Giving Tuesday Now takes place May 5 (Giving Tuesday’s regularly scheduled day of giving remains December 1 this year).

GiveBIG is Washington’s biggest online giving event for nonprofits. It was originally scheduled to be a one-day event on May 6 before collaborating with Giving Tuesday Now to create the 48-hour online giving campaign.

If you are able, please make a donation to help the Land Trust save what you love on Whidbey and Camano islands.

Family farms for safe local food. Forest and wetlands for clean drinking water, climate resiliency, and homes for wildlife. Trails and long stretches of beaches that connect people to nature.

Every gift makes a permanent and natural difference. Thank you!
