The 40-acre property contains a mature forest and open fields providing important wildlife habitat on the outskirts of the city of Oak Harbor. Nearby conserved properties include Swantown wetlands and Joseph Whidbey State Park. This site is one of 11 natural areas the Land Trust helped to transfer to Island County for protection.
