2019 Holiday Open House: Festive and Fun!

The 2019 Holiday Open House is a wrap! It was wonderful seeing so many incredible Land Trust members enjoying themselves.

The annual event always gives us a chance to experience one of our true joys – visiting with members. It was heartwarming to see so many happy faces and meaningful connections made during Wednesday’s festive occasion. For those who were able to attend on the brisk afternoon, thank you!

We also wanted to express our gratitude to this year’s sponsors who made the event possible: Goose Community Grocer and Washington Native Plant Society. The delicious homemade desserts and appetizers were generously provided by volunteers, staff, and board members. Thank you!

Pat Powell, our executive director, dedicated this Holiday Open House to one our dearest volunteers, Jean Knapp, who passed away earlier this week. Jean was one of the Land Trust’s longest running volunteers and was a big part of past Holiday Open House events. We will miss her!
